Health Insurance Connection

anyone know of any affordable insurance plans out there…health insurance, preferably with a deductable only on ER and Hospitalization costs…. and initial “co-pay only” on visits and such…Rx…. my medical history isn’t the best, but no major health issues…just some past med. history that could make it difficult for me to be insurred.

Hubby seems to think that taking a job that does not offer health insurance is not a bad option. He thinks it’s suitable to just get insurance individually, because he’ll probably make more money than at his last job who he had group coverage through.

I disagree- I’ve always known individual plans to be more expensive and not as good of coverage and more limiting. Regardless of how much more his new income is, it seems pretty pathetic to sign onto a job where you have to get your own coverage. I feel like he’s just being blinded by all the flashing lights of getting to work with his buddies!

Just cuz he’ll make more money, we shouldn’t have to funnel a ton into an individual health insurance plan. I’m sure it’s not as good as group health insurance!
